Your selection priorities
Supplier due diligence should connect a packaging supplier's quality documentation, project test records, material information and sustainability evidence to the actual selected package. A broad certificate, generic material statement or logo gallery should not be treated as proof for every product, market or commercial claim.
A practical review records the scope, issuing party, date, project application and responsible owner for each item of evidence. This helps brand and procurement teams distinguish an approved project fact from a general marketing statement.
An approval only helps if the people receiving and checking the goods can identify it. Keep component references, finish samples, artwork versions and packing instructions connected to the order. PauPack can discuss the quality records your team needs as part of the packaging scope. When an issue is reported, the relevant reference and batch information help focus the review on the actual difference, rather than on conflicting memories of an earlier sample.
PROJECT FAQ
Projects are assigned to product, engineering, quality and commercial owners based on complexity.
Send the product requirements and your target dates. We will review the scope and discuss the information needed for the next project decision.
Review the selected packaging route, current document scope, issuing party, project-specific material or test evidence, dates and destination-market relevance. Confirm what each record covers before using it to support a quality, recycled-content, recyclability or performance claim.
Start with the real use case: formula or contents, filling method, component interface, storage, handling, decoration, packing and destination. The review should identify where appearance, fit, leakage, dispensing, transport or documentation risks need a written criterion or agreed check.
Treat the container, neck finish, cap, pump, sprayer, dropper, liner, dip tube or insert as an assembled system. Confirm the intended component combination and any project-relevant fit, output, seal or locking expectation before relying on a sample result.
The reference should state the acceptable material and color direction, surface effect, decoration placement, assembly standard and any known limitations. It should be specific enough for inspection teams to distinguish an approved variation from a nonconforming production result.
Packaging quality does not end at the container. Define protective packing, orientation, separation, carton conditions and delivery route early because contact, abrasion, vibration and stacking can change the appearance or performance seen by the receiving team.
Use the approved sample, component list, drawing and artwork revisions, inspection criteria and packing arrangement. Decide who reviews any change or nonconforming result. A written standard for the actual pack is more useful than a general promise of premium quality. Packaging Quality Control Checklist →
