Assembly & Kitting

Bring your bottles, closures, labels and paper boxes together as a coordinated set. We plan the assembly sequence, component orientation and protective packing around the finished presentation and the work your filling partner will complete.

Component matching

Identify the bottle, cap, collar, insert and carton versions included in each set.

Orientation

Agree visible print alignment, label placement and the way the product sits in its insert.

Surface protection

Keep glossy, printed and metallic areas separated where contact may mark the finish.

Handover condition

Distinguish preassembled components from operations completed after filling.

Risk control

From your approved sample to production.

Component fit, formula contact, decoration and distribution conditions should be reviewed together.

Review one complete reference set before approving a kit. Check the opening sequence, component orientation and carton fit, then identify how each unit is protected for handling. If the bottle, pump height or paper structure changes, reassess the assembly rather than relying on separate component approvals. Your order should specify what is packed together and what is delivered separately.

A complete pack, ready for the next stage

A bottle, cap and box can each look right on their own and still need work as a set. PauPack plans assembly around the complete presentation: how the components meet, which surfaces must stay clean, where decoration faces and how the finished item sits inside its packaging. The aim is to give your team one coordinated pack to review, with the supplied components and assembly responsibilities clearly defined before production.

For a skincare collection, that discussion may include fitting overcaps, pairing jars with lids, positioning labels and preparing cartons or gift sets. A fragrance project may add collars, decorative caps and a protective insert. We separate the operations performed before dispatch from any work your filling partner will complete. This prevents a beautiful sample from becoming an inconvenient production handover.

Protect the finish through packing and delivery

Assembly planning also covers what happens after the product leaves the workstation. Glossy coatings, printed areas and decorative details need appropriate separation and protection. We review how the pack is handled, what touches the visible surfaces and how individual units are held inside the shipping carton. Retail presentation and transport packing serve different purposes, so both belong in the discussion.

An agreed sample helps everyone see the intended result. It can show component orientation, label position, closure condition, insert fit and the finished appearance. Changes to a bottle or carton should then be checked against that complete reference, because an adjustment to one part can affect the others. Share your component list and preferred delivery condition with PauPack, and we can help define a practical assembly scope for your launch.

How should container, closure, decoration and secondary packaging be scoped together?

Record the assembled component set before comparing quotations. The neck finish, pump or cap, label area, surface treatment, carton dimensions and transit protection influence each other, so a proposal should state what is included and what remains to be confirmed.

Which component most often controls MOQ, lead time or project risk?

The limiting item is usually the container, a custom closure, color batch, decoration process, insert or secondary pack with the highest manufacturing minimum. Identify that item early so the team can compare a faster stock alternative with the requested premium specification.

How are responsibilities divided between a brand, filler and packaging supplier?

The brand should define the commercial and visual brief; the filler should confirm process-relevant requirements; and the packaging supplier should document the proposed components, samples, stated checks and production assumptions. A shared approval record avoids gaps at handover.

What should be approved before Assembly and Kitting is released as a complete packaging system?

Approve the assembled system, material and finish reference, artwork, relevant fit or performance checks, packing configuration, quality criteria and delivery instructions. Any project-specific documentation should be confirmed before it is quoted or used in a market claim.

What needs to be agreed before a packaging set is assembled?

List every component and its quantity, assembly order, protective material and final packing arrangement. Review a complete set so cap finish, bottle position and insert fit can be approved together. State which steps PauPack coordinates and which remain with your filler or packing team. Cosmetic Gift Boxes And Sets →
