Sustainability
Review your bottle, closure, label and outer pack together before choosing a recyclability message. We help identify material combinations and design details that need further evaluation for the collection and recycling systems relevant to your market.

Your packaging choices

List the container, pump or cap, liner, label, coating and any attached accessory.
Review which parts can be removed and how the customer is expected to separate them.
Identify color, labels and decorative features that may affect the local recovery route.
Keep the material documents and market-specific assessment with the final packaging version.
Execution controls
The same package can encounter different collection and sorting systems in different markets. A material symbol or familiar resin name does not establish the outcome by itself. Review the complete component list and proposed decoration, then identify the assessment needed for your intended markets. If a component changes after approval, revisit the parts of the review that depend on that material or construction.
Lay out the complete packaging system, including the parts inside a pump or cap. Identify the bottle, dispenser, liner, label, adhesive, decoration and any secondary packaging. Record which components can be separated in normal use and which remain together. This gives the review a defined object instead of relying on a material name printed on the outer bottle.
Compare proposed changes against both function and the intended disposal route. A simplified assembly still needs to seal, dispense and protect your product. Review the available guidance for the destination market and keep the component breakdown with the sample. If a label, finish or accessory changes later, revisit the affected description before carrying an earlier recyclability statement onto the revised pack.

Packaging questions
Mixed materials, metallized finishes, labels, inks, adhesives and non-removable accessories can alter sorting or recycling outcomes. Review the full assembly, including the cap or pump and secondary pack, instead of judging the container by itself.
PCR and recycled glass can influence color consistency, surface appearance, supply availability, decoration response, MOQ and commercial timing. These are project decisions to be tested against the approved visual reference, not defects to be hidden after a claim is chosen.
Ask for material scope, relevant supplier documentation, project-specific specifications, component breakdown and the conditions behind any stated recycled, refillable or recyclable attribute. Confirm the final wording against the destination market and responsible-party requirements.
A glass perfume bottle and its pump or cap may follow different collection routes. Check whether the components can be separated, what decoration remains and what the destination-market system accepts. Review the actual package before making a recyclability statement; the presence of glass alone does not establish that the entire assembled pack will be recycled. Refillable Perfume Bottles →
Review the complete component breakdown, including internal pump parts, liners, labels, adhesives and decoration. Define whether the description applies to one part or the assembled pack. Then check the relevant collection and recycling conditions for the market where it will be sold.
